Does anyone know of all the different box variations? I can't find a list anywhere so i thought we could start one. All mine are in storage at the moment but as soon as i get them out i'll list them (might even add some nice pics). I'm particularly interested in the MD II Disney releases with the slip on covers, any info anyone has would be much appreciated Wink

Off the top of my head there's:

The original box when it was first released, and then I think one wit hAltered Beast packed in. There is the system with Sonic packed in. There is the Core System in a thinner blueish box. Genesis 2 Core, Genesis 2 with Sonic 2, Genesis 2 with NFL Football 94 packed in,  Genesis 2 with Sonic 2 and  NFL Football 94, Genesis 2 with The Lion King packed in. And many more Smiley

I know the last one released in Europe was the Mega-Drive 2 with a Mega 6 cartridge that had Sega Soccer (World Cup Italia but with different title), Columns, Super Monaco GP, Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic 1 and Streets of Rage and on the back mentioned games like Bugs Bunny, Comix Zone and Toy Story so it was about 1996-97 it was made (and my parents bought me one back then as my first console).

There's literally dozens of different console bundles & packages - Kenneth's got a thread at Guardiana that shows more than you could probably hope to ever own, and there's still "new" ones being spotted every now and then Wink

You have to be a real collector nut and/or be mentally unstable to want to own a version of every release of a system based on packaging  Kiss

Well call me mentally unstable as that's what I would love. To own every SEGA Megadrive promotional box. I am currently trying to compile a list with pictures which I hope to make a page on the site.

I think they look fantastic all displayed together in a collection!

I love console variants, I'll up some pics of some of the more interesting ones when I get a minute spare.

Feel free to start a list of all the variants you know of, I'll add to it with any I've spotted over the years, I think I have around 200 photos of different variations lying around on my PC....
